Star Chart is now available for free, making it an excellent educational and augmented reality astronomy app. With over 20 million users, it has become a popular choice for stargazers.

Now, you can carry a virtual star chart with you wherever you go. By using your iPhone or iPad's camera, Star Chart provides a high-tech window into the vast universe.

To use the app, simply point your AR-enabled device at the sky, and Star Chart will identify the celestial bodies you are looking at in real time. Utilizing state-of-the-art GPS technology and accurate 3D simulation, it calculates the current location of every star, planet, and moon visible from Earth, even during daylight hours.

Curious about the name of a bright star? Point your device at it, and you might discover it's a planet. Want to see what the night sky looks like from the other side of the Earth? Just point your device downwards! Additionally, Star Chart can reveal the position of your star sign in the sky and provide other informative details.
